AHCMC grants staff will conduct a free grant preparation webinar workshop to instruct prospective applicants on how to complete an application for Grants to Small Arts and Humanities Organizations. AHCMC strongly encourages all potential applicants, including those who have applied for and received grants in the past, to attend this webinar. Changes to FY13 Grant Guidelines will be reviewed, as well as common grant mistakes. However, attendance is not mandatory and whether or not an applicant attended a workshop will not be a factor in evaluating the application.This workshop will also include basic instructions on the use of AHCMC’s online grants system.

Grants to Small Arts and Humanities Organizations and Groups for Presenting and Performing support the work of small arts and humanities groups that may or may not be incorporated formally as nonprofit organizations. These grants support groups based in Montgomery County, MD for presenting and performing inside Montgomery County.  These grants support arts and humanities organizations and groups that work in a wide array of arts and humanities disciplines.Small organizations and groups are those with cash operating expenses in the most recently completed fiscal year of under $50,000.
